A mildly experienced street-tough looking to make his way into the Shadowrunning scene, though still somewhat naive about the whole business. Archetype wise, he's a street-sam/infiltrator with some scouting ability.
Originally born Marc Riley to a pair of SINless parents in the Puyallup Barrens, he grew up on the streets, learning how to evade the police and keep to himself from a young age. He was brought into the world in less than ideal circumstances, leading to some minor immune disorders, leaving him somewhat sickly and weaker than most other children his age, which in turn lead to him being bullied by them. Growing up on the streets tought him that if someone talks shit, you hit that bastard back, otherwise you're weak. Doesn't matter how, but you get even.
This eye-for-an-eye attitude eventually lead Marc to set off the wrong people when passing through one of the seedier areas of Puyallup, which quickly devolved into a large brawl between himself and some friends versus a group of gangers. The commotion attracted the attention of local scavengers and Infected, and as the sun had passed down, the entire group was swarmed. The group stood no chance. Gangers were torn apart, friends brought down by scything claws, and Marc himself caught a pistol round to the hip and went down, hard. He passed out as his head slammed against the asphalt of the street. While he lay there unconscious and his dreams played out scenes of horror, the creatures drug the survivors off, feeding on them and draining them completely, before dumping them in an abandoned warehouse. To his shock, after feeling like he had died, Marc awoke in that dingy warehouse, and managed to escape from it before something worse could happen.
That was several weeks back. In the time being, Marc has become a bit more familiar with the newfound condition he was forced to live with. While he's still somewhat uncomfortable with feeding, and misses the taste of proper food rather badly, you do what you have to in order to survive in the sprawl.
- Make a name for himself.
- Get himself out of the streets more permanently, stop living month to month.
- Figure out if there's a cure for being Infected.
